OKAKI is a trusted public health partner with a steadfast commitment to public and Indigenous health. They deliver on time with flexibility, and creativity, adopting a public health lens to complex projects. OKAKI’s team has the right balance of public health, technical, privacy, and health system experts to deliver transformative solutions. They have worked with First Nations community, healthcare and government partners to relentlessly pursue the creation of a complete and intuitive immunization registry for all Albertans. For over a decade, they have worked to address public health and immunization information gaps that the pandemic only highlighted, and their work has been vital to the COVID-19 response. Since immunization partners have implemented their systems the data quality to support immunization surveillance and clinical decision making has improved significantly.

Our pharmacy has been working with Okaki and PIP for about 3 years. PIP has allowed us to efficiently document immunizations, provide immunization records, document clinical services and bill for all of these services. Leveraging PIP has definitely allowed us to improve our efficiency and we can provide way more clinical services and immunizations (with better documentation) than we could without it. The Okaki team is also very helpful and easy to deal with.

FOCUS Humanitarian Assistance, Afghanistan completed disaster risk assessments in several hundred remote mountain villages in northern Afghanistan, an area highly prone to avalanches, landslides, and floods. They iteratively worked with our staff, in a patient, committed, and focused manner, despite an 11.5 hour time difference. They produced a summary of critical infrastructure and vulnerabilities for one of the poorest and most isolated regions of the world. The Atlas they created was instrumental in showcasing our work and planning for natural disasters.
